Tirupur : Pon Rasukutti, Head of the 'dissolved' Actor Ajith Fans Association of Tirupur has denied BJP State President, Tamilisai Soundarajan's statement that many Ajith fans have joined BJP.
Addressing the media in Tirupur, Pon Rasukutti, said, "Yes, it is true that four Ajith fans joined BJP during the release of Viswasam' movie. And, they too joined, as one of the BJP functionary helped them procure tickets. In this scenario, Tamilisai has been stating that 2000 Ajith fans have joined BJP, which is utterly false".
‘"While there are thousand ways to develop their party, using Ajith's name to gain political mileage is highly condemnable", he added.
Pon Rasukutti also affirmed that even if invited Ajith fans will not join BJP.
